GTM and launch plans

The launch plan touches four people. Put them on one live doc.

Positioning, content, sales, and the founder comment on the plan the agent wrote. Agent connect cuts week one when the founder says so.

Decaf tier launch

Owner: Amina Diallo. Brand: Brambleway Coffee. Window: October.

October launch for a decaf subscription at Brambleway Coffee. The bag is a different bean, roasted on the same day as the rest. This plan is the channel sequence, not the claim we put on the bag.

What we will not say

  • We are fresher than supermarket decaf.
  • Nobody has measured supermarket decaf. The line stays in the draft only so it can be cut. Leave it highlighted until someone actually deletes it.
  • The objection on calls is that decaf means stale, not that we are undifferentiated. Answer the stale objection, or cut the line and say nothing.

Week one

Week one: subscriber email, retail cards, and a social thread.Week one is the subscriber email only.

Retail cards and the social thread move to week three, after the email is out.
  • The email goes to current subscribers and tells them decaf is on the Tuesday roast. Shops are not on that send. Social is not on that send either.
  • No retail card and no social post until that email has been out for two weeks.

Later in October

  • Week three: one social reply in plain language, plus the card for shops we already supply.
  • Skip any line we would not say out loud on a call with a wholesale buyer.

fresher than supermarket decaf

Theo Marsh

We have not measured supermarket decaf. Do not say we are fresher.

Yusuf Kaya

The objection I hear is that decaf means stale. Answer that, or skip it.

Week one

Nadia Sorensen

@agent cut this to one channel for week one.

agent

Week one is now the subscriber email. Other channels moved to week three. Leaving this open so you can check the month.

How GTM plans get reviewed today

A deck is easy to present and awkward to revise. Comments come back as notes on a slide, and the agent is editing a markdown file those notes never reach.

A shared doc works for one pass. The next agent revision creates a second copy. A meeting can settle the channel list, and then someone still has to paste the decision back into the prompt.

Week one, one channel

Amina Diallo asks her agent for a GTM plan to launch a decaf subscription at Brambleway Coffee in October. The agent writes plans/decaf-tier-launch.md. Amina runs gander watch and sends the link to Nadia Sorensen, Theo Marsh, and Yusuf Kaya.

Theo highlights a claim about supermarket decaf and says they have not measured it. Yusuf replies with the objection he hears on calls: people think decaf means stale. That thread stays between them.

Nadia starts a new comment on the channel list: "@agent cut this to one channel for week one." Amina's agent rewrites the sequence, replies, and leaves the thread open because the edit moves the rest of the month. Theo and Yusuf see the new week one on the same link. The plan then goes to the calendar the team already runs.

Who's in the doc

WriterFounderContentSalesThe author's agent

Writer Marketing lead. Runs the agent, sends one link.

Founder Approves the bet. Often reading on a phone.

Content Checks the story the plan assumes the posts will tell.

Sales Checks the objection the plan claims to answer.

The author's agent Has the brief. Rewrites the sequence when the founder uses agent connect.

Reviewers only need a browser. Talk to each other in normal threads. Use agent connect when you want the draft changed.

Agents that fit gtm and launch plans

Grok BotA prose plan from a brief. With the Gander MCP server connected, agent connect comes back to that chat.
Claude CodeWhen the plan lives in a repo, MCP returns agent connect to the session.
CodexCodex can draft the plan next to other docs. Agent connect uses the MCP table.

A launch plan needs the people who have to live it on one file, not a deck that drifted from the draft.
