Quarterly update

Owner: Ava Singh. Company: Veloquay Bikes. Figures below are fictional.

Quarterly investor update for Veloquay Bikes. The figures in this draft are small and made up for the example. Ava sends the real email later, from the tool she already uses. This file is the review copy.

Product

Warehouse pilot: committed for 15 November.

The pilot is a target, not a date we have promised. Label it that way before this update goes out. Shops in the pilot are the two that already carry the bike. No new city is in this draft. Leave that shop count alone. Two shops already carry the bike, and this draft does not add a third.

Summary

Hiring this quarter: 4 people.Hiring this quarter: 3 people.

Hiring

The hiring section repeats the summary: 4.The hiring section repeats the summary: 3.

The open roles are one support lead and two mechanics. A fourth role was in an older draft and is not approved. The number has to match everywhere it appears. Grace counted the open roles, and the count is three. A fourth role is not hiding in another paragraph of this update.

Ask

The ask repeats the same count: 4.The ask repeats the same count: 3.

No other number in this update should move when the hiring count moves. If a figure is not the hiring count, leave it for a separate comment. Do not invent a figure to fill the page.

Left out of this copy

  • Cash and revenue stay in the mail tool Ava already uses. This review copy does not repeat them.

committed for 15 November

Mateo Alvarez

The warehouse pilot is a target, not a committed date.

Ava Singh

I will label it as a target before this goes out.

@agent the hiring number is 3, not 4, fix it everywhere.

How investor updates get reviewed today

A shared doc is a normal last pass, and it forks if the agent regenerates a section from the sheet on someone's laptop.

Emailing the draft to finance gets a number corrected in the reply, not in the other two sections that repeat it. The send itself still belongs in email, not in Gander.

Three hires, not four

Ava Singh asks her agent for Veloquay Bikes' quarterly investor update. The figures in the draft are small and clearly made up for this example. She runs gander watch on updates/q3-investors.md and sends the link to Grace Liu and Mateo Alvarez.

Mateo highlights the product section and says the warehouse pilot is a hope, not a date. Ava replies to label it as a target. Human thread.

Grace starts a new comment: "@agent the hiring number is 3, not 4, fix it everywhere." Ava's agent changes the count in the summary, the hiring section, and the ask, replies, and resolves the thread. Mateo sees 3 on the same link. Ava sends the update by email when she is ready.
